Muscat: The Sultanate’s consulate in Australia issued a circular to citizens and students studying in Australia stating that they must undergo a coronavirus test before traveling.

The Consulate General said: “Those who wish to travel to Australia via the airlines of the United Arab Emirates or through their airports must submit a report stating that the traveler is free of COVID-19 before completing the travel procedures and the test must have been taken in a period not exceeding 96 hours.”

The procedure began to be implemented since the first of August, with the exception of people with special needs and children under the age of 12 years.
