Within the Masar program, Arab Women Media Center launched the training Manual “Media and Gender,” which represents cascade training “Media as catalysts for change in gender policies” that the center carried out in cooperation with the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development and Spain’s National Radio and Television, as it aims to promote and improve the politics of capable media professionals. In order to have a positive impact and development in all media institutions at all levels, local, national and regional, the training spanned a period of three months, from October to December 2020, with 120 participants benefiting from ten Arab countries: Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, and Syria. The trainings were carried out -on line – by Spanish experts by Massar program, and by Jordanian experts accredited by the Center for Arab Women Media. The guide includes a presentation of all training materials, and profiles of the expert trainers, participants and posts.
