Omantel’s license renewed

Muscat— Oman Telecommunications Company SAOG (Omantel) has reported that Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has finalised all procedures pertaining to the renewal of Omantel’s first-class mobile telecom license, against a fee of R.O 75 million.  The renewal, which will run for a period of 15 years, includes the spectrum that is currently allocated to Omantel under the existing first-class mobile  telecom license, and will exclude the 5G spectrum.
